Yatin, India: A personal appeal
![]() |
My name is Yatin Thakur, and I live in New Delhi, India. Early this year, I discovered WiserEarth.org. In the past 7 years, I have experienced many hurdles and some could have been avoided if I had the right connections. Without strong communities, I believe it is harder to move towards a just and sustainable world. Communities collectively make a social impact. |
Through WiserEarth, I have been able to get knowledge, connect with people from diverse backgrounds working in different parts of the world, which eventually resulted in creating a stronger community of social changemakers in my region and helping the global movement in general. We can no longer work in silos and this is why WiserEarth is so important.
Today, I decided to support WiserEarth and hope you will join me in doing so as well.
WiseEarth helps NGOs and changemakers in the sustainability field connect and collaborate so the non profit sector is more efficient with its resources. To date, it has reached 60,000 members and represents over 120,000 non profits from around the world. With your donation today, WiserEarth can remain free of charge and free of advertisement.
WiserEarth just needs enough money to pay for its minimal infrastructure. It only has 6 staff and over 85 volunteers at any given time. Your donation can help WiserEarth keep growing and improving for years to come.
Please help strengthen WiserEarth and make a donation of $5, $20, $50 before December 31st.
Many thanks,
Yatin
