Tweeting for Social Change: 15 Changemakers

WiserEarth’s community includes many changemakers using social media, such as Twitter, to spread the word about social justice and environmental issues and events. We were inspired by Mashable’s great list of Environmentalists on Twitter to create one of our own. |
Representing passionate individuals, social justice and environmental groups, and events, these Twitter users are using social media for a more just and sustainable world. Stay tuned as we will send 15 More Changemakers in a few weeks!

Of course, we should mention the #EcoMonday hashtag — the environmental equivalent of #FollowFriday, in which Twitter users suggest “green” tweeters to follow and share green news — is a great way to find green initiatives.
