During the month of March and April, WiserEarth (Wiser.org) challenged its 70,000 members to join in A Billion Acts of Green®, an ongoing campaign of the Earth Day Network.

Dear friends of a Billion Acts of Green,

Thanks to your help, we helped reach the goal of

One Billion acts of Green!!!! 

You hosted WiserLocal events, set up training programs, set up green drinks events, peace groups, taught others how to make their own bread using renewable energy… and much, much more.  

You were amazing to host/help organize/attend these events and share your energy!  And you continue to be amazing and inspire others every day with what you do.

If you have any photos to share, we invite you to share them on the Every Day is Earth Day contest page with a short description and they will be featured in a future Wiser video.

Here were the final tally of events from the top 10 countries that were added to Wiser.org…..  825 events in total were posted from around the world:

We hope continue to use the Billion Acts of Green group to locate events around the world which support green acts around the world and help use it as a sort of clearing house for green events that we would like to shine a spotlight on.

Shining a light on your global event
