Newspaper

As part of your community moves up the engagement pyramid, their contributions will become more valuable for the rest of the community. One example is the WiserEarth Community Newsletter, which premiers this June with articles spotlighting some of our active members and organizations.

Produced largely by volunteer WiserEarth Editors, Kerry Vineberg and Deborah Phelan, and sustained by stories from the WiserEarth network, this newsletter is about, for and by the community. Click here to read about actions being taken on children’s rights, sustainability, and over-consumerism!

  • Jon Ramer and his success using WiserEarth to integrate the work of international and local groups at a children’s rights conference;
  • The collaboration of Wiser members around the Global Oneness Project’s May road show,  “The New Narrative, Local Voices for a Global Future”; and
  • The popular film “The Story of Stuff,” which illustrates the connection between consumerism, community and the earth’s cycles.

If you’re part of the WiserEarth community, we invite you to send success stories, article ideas, press releases, photos or news to editors@wiserearth.org and include “Newsletter” in the subject line. We look forward to hearing from you!
